I work in television and film taking images for publicity purposes. Everything you see on magazines, posters, when you’re scrolling through Netflix is what a stills photographer creates. It’s an exciting job and I love it, but it’s not my true passion.

I love landscape photography and Norfolk has an abundance of beautiful and scenic places to capture. In the past I lived in London and made my permanent move here a few years back. I had been coming to Norfolk since I was very little, so I know it well, but it was still a daunting decision at first, leaving everything I knew, along with my friends and the places I was so familiar with.

But I quickly grew to love my new surroundings. Exploring the countryside everyday makes me feel regenerated, both in my health and career. I finally have the surroundings I want as a landscape photographer, here right on my doorstep. There is so much to explore, ranging from pretty village walkways to fields and forests, and of course the amazing coastline.

My favourite beach is at Wells next-the-Sea - it has the most incredible woods where light floods through the trees. They go on for miles but adjacent is the beach, which stretches forever, a vision of sand dunes, flat sea and the unforgettable row of colourful beach huts. This is one place you must visit.

Another beach that is as vast and stunning is Holkham. The sheer expanse hits you straight away - it takes a good twenty minutes to reach the sea. It is surrounded by more dunes, marshes and woods, and there are literally millions of seashells scattered everywhere. It remains one of my favourite places to take photographs in Norfolk.

My next step as a landscape photographer is to start printing, framing and selling my photographs. I realise others also sell their landscape work but hopefully people will recognise mine for its uniqueness. The great thing is that in Norfolk, art is cherished in all of its forms.

Beautiful Norfolk has so much to offer - it’s a huge breath of fresh air.
